He attended the IADE (Instituto de Artes Visuais e Marketing) where he graduated in 1989 as Fashion Designer.<\/p>\n<p>In 1991 Filipe Fa\u00edsca was chosen to the Official Selection for Medirerranean Europe Young Creative Biennale in Valencia, Spain, and was wellcomed to his debut at the ModaLisboa runway with his Spring\/ Summer collection.<\/p>\n<p>Alongside the development of atelier fashion collections \u2013 and his costumized work in which wedding dresses and national artists gowns stand out \u2013, he has created wardrobes for theatre , opera, ballet, film and lines of accessories besides uniforms for several hotels , restaurants and discos<\/p>\n<p>In 1993 he was assistant designer of Ana Salazar and later that year opened his own atelier.<\/p>\n<p>From 1994 to 2006 he taught fashion design at Chapit\u00f4.<\/p>\n<p>After a hiatus of 14 years Filipe Fa\u00edsca returns to the runway of ModaLisboa in October 2006 where he seasonally presents his fashion collections. Awarded in 2007 with the Golden Globe Award for Best Portuguese Fashion Designer, he created until 2013 the shop Windows of Herm\u00e8s in Lisbon and Algarve and Fashion Clinic in Lisbon and Oporto.<\/p>\n<p>In 2011 he developed a partnership with the lingerie brand Triumph until February 2014. In 2013 he developed the Spring\/Summer campaign for the Fashion Clinic Stores and taught a course in Fashion Design at ESAD, in Matosinhos.<\/p>\n<p>In 2014 Filipe Fa\u00edsca began his brand expansion with new points of sale in partnership with online and physical stores. In the same year the support of Christian Louboutin returned to his fashion collections and he had his first aftershow with Absolut. Also in 2014, the artist Joana Vasconcelos created a unique piece for the Callcenter Fashion Collection runway where Filipe Fa\u00edsca also launched a collaboration with the brand of swimsuits Voke.<\/p>\n<p>In 2015 Filipe Fa\u00edsca was once again awarded the Golden Globe Award for Best Portuguese Fashion Designer. In a partnership with the Foundation Rui Os\u00f3rio he gave life to the collection \u201cDarling\u201d by printing on his creations the drawings of the children supported by the IPO (Cancer Institute). He participated in the exhibitions \u201cBurilada\u201d at the opening of the House of Design in Matosinhos and \u201cHow do you pronounce the Portuguese Design\u201d in the MUDE, in Lisbon.<\/p>\n<p>He celebrated 25 years of a full career in 2016 and has begun a collaboration with Montblanc and Wolford.<\/p>\n<p>In 2017 he participated as a lecturer on Re-Design at the National Meeting of Design Students (ENED) in Covilh\u00e3, an initiative of the Beira Interior University and he also took part in the exhibition \u201cVestir hoje o teatro e a dan\u00e7a\u201d at the National Museum of Theatre and Dance.<\/p>\n<p>In 2018, in March, he starts the partnership with the Madeira Wine, Embroidery and Crafts Institute and with Roger Vivier in the presentation of his collection at ModaLisboa. In May, she participates in the conferences &#8220;Talk on the Dress&#8221;, &#8220;FIA TALKS&#8221; and collaborates with the Gulbenkian Museum in the &#8220;Post Pop Night&#8221;. In June, he exhibits in partnership with MUDE Museum, at the Sol Koffler Gallery in Rhode Island, USA, and wins the career award at FIL by IADE. In July he takes part in Pure London with his brand Iconic by Filipe Fa\u00edsca. In December, he holds an open class &#8220;Fashion and Craftsmanship&#8221; at ISCTE, and participates in the Moda Madeira event with one of his collections from the partnership with Bordado Madeira\/IVBAM.<\/p>\n<p>In 2019 she teaches workshops related to textile techniques and fabrics at Cascais School of Arts &amp; Design. He also realizes a costume for nossa senhora da igrteja da Miseric\u00f3rdia. In February he participates again in Pure London with his brand Iconic by Filipe Fa\u00edsca.<\/p>\n<p>In 2020, the brand will be more focused on atelier work in bespoke dresses and uniforms for hotels and other projects, continuing to have points of sale with iconic pieces in Portugal and Spain.<\/p>\n<p>In 2021 she participates with pieces in the exhibition &#8220;Porto Fashion &amp; Fabric Museum&#8221; located in WOW.<\/p>\n<p>In January 2022 presents 2 times pieces of the brand Filipe Fa\u00edsca in WORLDCLASS events in Phoenix in the United States.<br \/>\nHe produces the uniforms for the Cafetaria Museu do Tesouro Real at Pal\u00e1cio da Ajuda.<br \/>\nFrom March to September he takes part in the exhibition &#8220;PORTUGAL POP.
